It was created as a part of the information desk design for the interior foyer of the Czech Anthroposophical Society in Prague. The statue is made of lime wood, and it is a smaller scale model (1:10). I made this sketch on a wood-carving workshop under the leadership of Jana Koen. The inspiration for this statue is a sculpture which Rudolf Steiner designed for the lower part of the main staircase railing of the building I of the Goetheanum. It is an object that expresses the formshaping forces of nature in relation to man. It contains equitably expressed directions that a person experiences in relation to the mass. Upward and downward movement, sideways movement, and forward and backward movement.
